S: Hello! Are you looking for an egg tray machine?
B: Yes. I’m new to this industry. Could you tell me how to choose a good one?
S: Sure. Let’s start with your hourly output demand. How many egg trays doyou plan to make every hour?
B: I haven’t figured it out yet. What sizes of machines do you have?
S: We have three types. Small machines make 700 to 2,000 trays per hour. They fit small egg farms with tight budgets. Medium ones produce 2,000 to 4,000 pieces hourly for growing packaging shops. Large fully automatic lines can reach 4,000 to 8,000 trays each hour for big factories.
You can choose suitable one according to your budget.
B: Got it. What’s the difference between semi-automatic and fully automatic machines?
S: Semi-automatic machines cost less. Workers need to carry wet trays to dry areas by hand. They take little workshop space. Fully automatic lines work with drying tunnels. Forming, dehydrating and drying run without manual work. They save labor but need more land and higher upfront money.
B: What core parts should I check carefully?
S: Molds matter most. Food-grade aluminum molds won’t rust and keep tray shapes steady for years. Cheap plasticmolds deform easily after touching wet pulp. Besides, strong vacuum pumps and motors are necessary. Weak pumps make thin, broken trays. All pulp-contact parts should be stainless steel to stop corrosion.
B: What drying ways can I choose?
S: Three common choices.
Natural air drying costs no extra fuel but needs huge open space and slow output. Brick kilns burn coal or wood with low long-term fuel costs. Multi-layer metal dryers use gas or diesel. They heat evenly and work well in cold or rainy areas.
B: I also care about costs and after-sales service.
S: Don’t only focus on the machine price. Calculate long-term costs of power, fuel and spare parts. Reliable suppliers offer one-year free spare parts, remote training and on-site installation. Stay away from sellers without after-sales support.
B: Can I test the machine before buying?
S: Absolutely.
Bring your waste paper for trial production. Check the trays’ thickness, hardness and smooth surface. Stable machines never make cracked or fragile egg trays. We always do machine testing before delivery. Once we did it, we will send testing videos to buyers for checking. Delivery of the machine will proceed only after the client has formally approved it and confirmed full satisfaction with its performance and specifications.
B: Thanks a lot. Your advice helps me make a better choice.
S: You’re welcome. A matching egg tray machine cuts your production costs and brings stable profits.
